In April 2022, the new realization of the International Terrestrial Reference System ITRF2020 was released. This was not only an update over the previous ITRF2014 solution, but also a further refined model of crustal deformations, especially with the addition of seasonal loading and geocenter corrections. In this paper we present an evaluation of the ITRF2020 solution and the effect of considering the new seasonal terms, through comparisons with the current CNES POE-F standards (ITRF14-based orbit solutions) relying on DORIS and GNSS measurements for precision orbit determination and independent SLR observations for their validation.
