Welcome on Aviso+ Meetings website for the OSTST.
This interface has been created for abstracts submission and/or registration to specific events listed below.
Dear OSTST members,
Due to ongoing uncertainties involving the pandemic, we have decided to postpone the “in person” meeting planned on March to October 31 – November 4 at the same location (Venice). The already submitted abstracts will be kept for this in person meeting, but the submission process will be reopened to allow for modifying, cancelling, submitting new ones.
Although the in person meeting has been postponed, we have organized a shorter virtual meeting during the planned dates (21-22 March) that was restricted to high-level summaries and open discussions. The presentations and recordings of the meeting are avalaible through the menu "PROGRAMS" or by clicking on the link below:
While we are sorry that we will not be able to see everyone in person next month, we are optimistic that we will finally have an in person meeting in October.
The 2022 Ocean Surface Topography Meeting will occur October 31 – November 4 (postponement of OSTST 2021) and will include a variety of science and technical splinters. These will include a special splinter on the Sentinel-6 Validation Team (S6VT) feedbacks (chaired by the Project Scientists), a splinter on Coastal Altimetry, and a splinter on CFOSAT. Sentinel-6A Michael Freilich being now the reference mission since April 2022, abstracts that support this mission are highly encouraged.
Considering the current improvements regarding COVID related restrictions, we are confident to be in a position to have an in person meeting and continue preparing for it.
You should be able to submit your abstract but if you encounter any problem during abstract submission and/or upload of your contribution, please contact: aviso(at)altimetry.fr
Abstract submission will open again from May to June 2022.
If you are not planning to attend the OSTST 2022 in person, please choose the "Forum only" (Type Requested) for your submitted abstract. Please note the particularities of the two following sessions:
- The "Sentinel-6 Validation Team (S6VT) feedbacks" oral presentations are reserved for high level summaries from S6VT members and agencies (but you can submit abstracts for "Posters" or "Forum only")
- The "OSTST Opening Plenary Session" is reserved for Program and Project status presentations from agencies
The list and descriptions of the splinters is available here
