Welcome on Aviso+ Meetings website for the OSTST.
This interface has been created for abstracts submission and/or registration to specific events listed below.
The 2022 Ocean Surface Topography Meeting will occur 21-25 March 2022 (postponement of OSTST 2021) and will include a variety of science and technical splinters. These will include a special splinter on the Sentinel-6 Validation Team (S6VT) feedbacks (chaired by the Project Scientists), a splinter on Coastal Altimetry, and a splinter on CFOSAT. In anticipation of the end of the Cal/Val phase of Sentinel-6A Michael Freilich, more than 1 year after the launch, abstracts that support this mission are highly encouraged.
Considering the current improvements regarding COVID related restrictions, we are confident to be in a position to have an in person meeting and continue preparing for it.
However, we will set up certain remote access functions to give those of you who will not be able to travel access to all presentations, even if not in real time. At least two solutions will be provided: (i) the forums (as for OSTST 2020) and (ii) the recording of the sessions on-site that will be made available few days after the meeting.
We will need at least 200 registered participants on-site to be able to cover the costs and kindly ask you to complete the survey sent by e-mail in order to evaluate the feasibility of a "full" in person meeting.
You should be able to submit your abstract but if you encounter any problem during abstract submission and/or upload of your contribution, please contact: aviso(at)altimetry.fr
Abstract submission will open again on 11 October 2021 until 15 December 2021.
If you are not planning to attend the OSTST 2022 in person, please choose the "Forum only" (Type Requested) for your submitted abstract. Please note the particularities of the two followings.
- The "Sentinel-6 Validation Team (S6VT) feedbacks" oral presentations are reserved for high level summaries from S6VT members and agencies (but you can submit abstracts for "Posters" or "Forum only")
- The "OSTST Opening Plenary Session" is reserved for Program and Project status presentations from agencies
