Through support from a NASA Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences supplemental education grant, we have developed and provided resources and materials to teach high school students about sea level and climate change science. These resources take the form of a six-week course and stand-alone lectures designed to engage students across a range of settings. Our focus is on providing "hands-on" classroom experiences for the students to improve the understanding of how sea level is changing. The end product of the project is a set of six modules representing the six classes in the course that could be given to educators in high schools to teach the course in their schools. These modules provide detailed classroom instructions and material lists, making it possible for non-experts to provide an educational experience for high-school-aged students. In this presentation, we detail the six modules and discuss lessons learned over the course of the three-year project.
