Presentation type: Oral

With the advent of continuously pulsed SAR altimeters such as Jason-CS/Sentinel 6 there is renewed interested in exploiting the coherence of pulses from different bursts. Egido and Smith have recently shown the efficacy of the Fully Focused approach in which all of the available pulses are employed. This current work will report on the development of a model waveform appropriate for Fully Focused SAR altimetry which is based on the SAMOSA model. It will also report on a computational method that reduces the computational load of the Fully Focused processing by a factor of at least eight.
